The toys that are usually used are from movies, shows, video games, or basically any rights that McDonald's can get their hands on. They are usually for children 3-7, and are a way of luring kids to eat the unhealthy, greasy, mystery-meat food that is McDonald's.
Safety Regulations- Here are the criteria for the the McDonald's toy's that each must apply to:
- inflatibility
- chemical toxicity
- lead inclusion
- Projectiles
- impaction
- impalement
- flammability
Team Norms:
- work together on each step
- divide work evenly
- skype until we pass out
- bounce ideas and changes off each other
- be beautiful
Develop a Solution
Construct and Test Prototype
I asked my oldest brother and his girlfriend (they're 21&22, so adults), and they said that it was cool, and funny (because fedora's are really amazing and the coolest head accessory out there), and were proud of me for the work i had done and being such a cool, smart, and down-to-earth-modest young person.
Evaluate the Solution
i would like to start with the changes to the right arm, legs, and fedora. I would like to make the right arm something that actually resembles an arm, the fedora larger and less top hat like, and maybe make his boots look like actual boots. i would like to give a back-story to this minion. He had a terrible accident in the lab and waas reconstructed with a freeze-ray arm, mechanical legs, and a cool fedora to go with it. Honestly, this project was the most fun one ive done all year. I enjoyed making my own Minion, and had fun with my partner as well. We Skyped during the entire process of the project, and were able to help each other along the way, as well as have a great sense of communication with him. this project also helped me improve my skills in inventor, which i am always trying to do. By the way, i know you'll miss me ms. ziglejeva, as i am one of the best students you have ever had ;)
